I get warnings all the time, all fake warnings about threats. None of them real. Do an internet search on the value of security programs. Some even do more harm than good.

They don't do anything is likely incorrect. Likely they will install malware like a virus, ransom demand, etc.

Researchers on Wednesday announced a major cybersecurity find—the world’s first-known instance of real-world malware that can hijack a computer’s boot process even when Secure Boot and other advanced protections are enabled and running on fully updated versions of Windows. https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2023/03/unkillable-uefi-malware-bypassing-secure-boot-enabled-by-unpatchable-windows-flaw/ Badly written article, but you'll get the point of what all is exploitable nowadays... April 17, 20233 yr It's sneaky nagware. Not a threat, but anything that gets loaded behind my back gets two thumbs down from me. https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-remove-rav-antivirus/

My searching indicates that 'RAV Endpoint Protection' is a product of Reason Labs which appears to be a legit company started by an ex-Microsoft chap. However I couldn't find much in the way of reviews or actual knowledgeable folk who could say whether it is legit or not. Just "it looks like a PUP so kill it with fire", which is likely what I'd do if it sneaked onto my PC. https://reasonlabs.com
