Want to quit my part-time job but keep my full-time job

Recommended Posts

Hi.  I have a full-time job and a part-time job in Bangkok, each with a work permit and with extension of stay until September.

I want to leave the part-time job in May but keep the full-time job.  When I cancel the part-time job work permit, would I be required to leave the country, or could I stay until September by keeping my full-time job?

Also, when I got the part-time job years ago, I had to get the full-time employer to sign some document.  When I cancel the part-time job, would the full-time employer be involved?

Do you know of any other possible complications with this move?

Thanks for your advice.

Is the extension you are on only be valid for the part time job? It's certainly unusual for a foreigner to have two jobs here.

You could also try Thai Visa Advice group on FACEBOOK. They're very good at helping sort out these complications.

The more details you can give them, the better they can help. Also, you won't get the idiots chiming in on FB it is a private group an extremely well run. I see they are here already!

I always thought each person can only have one work permit. Or not?

Its possible to add several employers in your work permit legally.

However, all of the employers have to be mentioned in the Work Permit
