During what law enforcement called a regular nightclub inspection last night, Pattaya Police arrested a Laotian woman who had overstayed her visa by three years.

The authorities searched a nightclub on Walking Street, namely “Club Panda” at 10 PM yesterday, April 25th.

They found 160 patrons in the club both Thais and foreigners alike. The authorities separated the pubgoers into two groups consisting of 80 Chinese, 9 Koreans, 1 Laotian, and 72 Thais.

I feel so much safer now, will they leave her unattended in an unmanned solitary cell ?

I was wondering what they will be doing regarding the bar owner for employing an illegal immigrant?

I expect that rather trivial result justifies their efforts in their minds?

The article does not state that the woman was employed by the club.

I guess immigration records, tied to TM30 records, isn't doing the job.

I know of a Thai girl, who was caught offering certain services at night, and who after had to stay an extended time (weeks) with a cop to "pay off" a fine. Perhaps this overstayer will get such a chance too... ????

none of them tested positive.

Did they check that chemistry analyzer had batteries? ????

There seem to be clubs that are only visited by certain nationalities.

I guess most of the Thais looked like females ????
