A 60 year old man’s body was discovered in a canal next to his car under a flyover in Pathum Thani-Lat Lum Kaeo Road near Lat Lum Kaeo district in central Thailand. The deceased, who had a history of high blood pressure, worked for a company that employed GPS tracking in its vehicles.

The incident took place near a silver Isuzu pickup truck with Bangkok registration plates, positioned close to a drainage canal. The man, identified as Nattanan, was dressed in black trousers without a shirt.

According to the owner of the company where Nattanan worked, he came to pick up supplies at the warehouse in Lat Lum Kaeo to deliver to Navanakhon. When they lost contact with him, company staff followed the GPS on the vehicle, which led them to his body. They initially did not see the body but found the car with its door open. They thought someone had already taken the deceased to a hospital. A second inspection revealed the body lying face down in the canal. The police were then contacted to coordinate the recovery of the body, KhaoSod reported.

After inspecting the scene, police recorded the evidence and directed the foundation to transfer the body to the forensic hospital Thammasat, Chalermphrakiat for further examination. Authorities will then contact the deceased’s relatives to collect the body for funeral rites.
