Any exercise is better than no exercise. 'Sitting is the new smoking' as the saying goes. You have a good regime going for you there.

The advantage that Tai Chi/Qigong has is that, if practiced correctly they include meditation, which is well known for reducing stress and thus blood pressure. My own PB will actually go down following a Qigong session.

It's a gap in my education, I have never studied Tai Chi/Qigong. Whatever works.

Just looked at 5 Qigong beginner's exercises on YouTube, I will give it a try.

Good for you. There's nothing like a bit of 'pushing the envelope' to boost stimulation.

Here's one I really like. Marissa is a great instructor and it is set in a beautiful garden right here in Thailand. It's one of my favourite videos.

There is no research on use of Cialis for control of general hypertension, only pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Studies have shown that Cialis does not significantly lower BP in people with normal BP nor in people with hypertension who are on BP meds. So unlikely it can substitute for other meds to treat hypertension.

There are many different tupes of BP medication. Which have you tried so far and with what side effects?

Have you already tried low sodium diet, weight loss and exercise?

Do  you monitor your BP at home? How high is it? Readings at hospital can be misleading.

As always, very comprehensive and straight to the point. This post answered my question(s) I had concerning this issue. Thanks Sheryl.
