Please let me know information if you are aware of any book about the Wats in Thailand.

An artist friend visiting Thailand for 2 months would like to do research and plan visits to Wats based upon the research.

Background information. My friend is actually interested in art/sculpture related to "being born again". So, he hopes to locate Wats that have art/sculpture related to this specific aspect of Buddhism and he will then visit these Wats.

However, if a book with background information on all (or major) Wats is not available, he might be able to make similar selection of Wats to visit from a coffee-table book if it contained somewhat detailed info via pictures.
