MeaMaximaCulpa
I recently got a new passport, and had all the stamps transferred to it from the old passport. When leaving Thailand the airport IO stamped me out in the new passport, and not next to the latest (2019) entry stamp in the old passport. I only saw this when I got both passports back, since I always check the stamp before leaving the immigration area. Just in case they make a mistake it is easy to correct on the spot. I asked the officer about it, and he said that he has to stamp me out in the new passport. I guess he is the one to know, but I seem to remember reading several times on this forum that the exit stamp goes in the old passport. What is your experience with this? Please no guessing, only your own experiences. 3
Popular Post BritTim
It is perfectly normal that after stamp transfers to the new passport, no further stamp goes in the old passport. Your official acted properly. 5 1 3 1
