Can anyone suggest a Koi Pond builder in Surin.

The pond I am looking for is about 10M by 5M and 1.2 m deep, the fish filter was built during the construction of the house, I have had a quote from a pool builder but was way too expensive, I think mainly because it was a farang price, even my builder said he could build a house for less.

I have built pond before but usually with pond liners, not concrete and I will build it myself if I can buy the firestone rubber liner I have used in the past ( I cant find where to buy that in Thailand either).

Any suggestions would be appreciated

You need an LDPE pond liner... check out this company... also this website.

 

Many people around who have a backhoe (and operator) for rent... just drive slowly around the villages after 6pm and see who has one parked in their yard.

They could excavate your pond to your desired length shape and depth, and then get it lined before filling it with water.
