stickman Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 The Sheraton Grande has two chefs in from a Sheraton in Cairo who are preparing a bunch of dishes for the buffet at the Sheraton Grande. The Egyptian slant on the buffet runs until Sunday 15th July. We went along last night and sampled it. About 50% of all the dishes have an Egyptian slant - about half the salads, half the desserts and the majority of the mains. I can't remember the names of most of the dishes but there were heaps of dishes I had never even heard of before to try. I am glad I went along as I like food from that region, although with that said, I probably prefer some of the smaller places on Sukhumvit sois 3 and 5 for this type of food. It's worth checking out if Middle Eastern food is your thing. 990 ++ baht per person. Take your Sheraton Grande / Starwood card for a 50% discount.
stickman Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 starwood card costs how much to own? The card is 6,900 baht. It comes with a bunch of vouchers for free buffets at various 5 star hotels, both in Bangkok and other parts of the country.
