SARABURI: -- In a distressing Facebook post, user "Mai Sai" sought help to find the man who attacked their spouse, sharing a photo and pleading for assistance, reported Siam Rath.

 

The victim, Thong Suk, aged 52, had wounds on her left breast, arm, and finger, requiring 15 stitches. Boon Peng, the assailant, was recognized as Thong Suk's recent spouse of five years, contending with alcohol dependency and possessiveness concerning her former partner.

The distressing event unfolded on June 26th, precisely at 3:00 p.m.Thong Suk, a food vendor, had called Boon Peng to pick up their grandchild but was ignored, leading to the altercation. She reported the incident to the police, but Boon Peng had already fled on a motorcycle.

 

Later, on June 30th, Boon Peng voluntarily surrendered, expressing remorse and offering to enter the monkhood if Thong Suk forgave him. He withdrew the complaint, promising not to harm her. In the meantime, the surveillance footage revealed the culprit purchasing alcohol at 10:15 a.m., conversing on the phone and indulging in a cigarette before heading back home at 10:17 a.m.

A contentious dispute between Boon Peng and Thong Suk was captured at 3:00 p.m. Although the authorities arrived at the scene, Boon Peng managed to flee, eluding their grasp.
