BRT improvements: Bangkok’s bus service to continue with 455 million baht funding boost

In a bid to enhance the current quality of public transportation in Bangkok, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has announced BRT improvement plans to continue the city’s bus service after the concession held by the Bangkok Mass Transit System Plc (BTSC) expires on the last day of August.

Fatal collision with electric pole kills two, leaving four critically injured in Samut Sakhon

Two people tragically lost their lives when their pick-up truck lost control and collided with an electric pole, following the collision, the vehicle was completely wrecked in central Thailand. This heartbreaking incident also left four other passengers critically injured. The accident occurred around 3.30am today, on Sethakit 1 Road in Krathum Baen district, Samut Sakhon.

A religious ceremony was held this morning (Monday) in front of Tham Luang cave, in the Tham Luang-Khun Nam Nang Non National Park in Chiang Mai, to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the dramatic search and rescue mission for 12 members of the “Wild Boar” school footballer team and their coach, trapped inside the flooded cave from June 23rd toJuly 10th, 2018.

A 35 year old Russian man has died after jumping from the top of a 6 storey pagoda at Chalong Temple. The Phuket Express reports that friends of the man say they believe he was hallucinating after “drinking water mixed with an unknown substance”.
