On July 10th at 6:30 PM, Deputy Chief Ekachai Khumpetch apprehended a pickup truck carrying twelve unauthorized Myanmar migrant workers along the Phahonyothin Road, Ayutthaya.

The migrants were jammed inside a gray Toyota Vigo truck, arousing police suspicions. The driver, a 37-year-old named Zaw from Tak province, was taken into custody. All passengers were found to be without valid travel documents, reported Sanook.

The workers reported sneaking into Thailand early morning on the same day, expecting to work in various locations in and around Bangkok. They had not eaten out of fear of being caught.

Understanding their plight, the officers fed the migrants with roti, originally intended as a gift for their families, before further food delivery arrived. Zaw revealed that he had been hired by a Thai named "Seng" to transport the workers. The matter is under investigation.
