After loving the 360 for 7 months, it's given up the ghost. Looks like the DVD drive has gone kitform. Wont eject/close and the power symbol constantly flashes.

Anyone know of a repair service in BKK that can get replacements ? (pref modded drives)

When you say the power symbol flashes do you mean ALL 4 red segments or just three or less of them. If not all which ones are flashing?

Yes, Have you tried removing all the cables and plugging them back in, I remember having something similar before and it was simply a case of unplugging teh cables and plugging them back in.

The selling Price is Baht 16,000.00 incl. 5 free Games and 1 Year Warranty (?)!

For repairing they not need more than 1 week as they told me today and charging Baht 1,000.00 up!

I've found a little "hack" that may help, ie: putting a disk in manually and powering up - something to do with magnets and spindles...We'll see.

Fixed itself, i chanced upon using the "open tray" option from the dashboard, and it did!!!!

PS: if you get 3 reds, i've heard tonite wrapping the thing in a thick towel and leaving it for a few hours lets the solder re-flow..
