webfact Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Summonses have been issued by Bangkok police for 11 witnesses, including those involved in the construction, to visit Chorakhe police station within three days for questioning over the collapse of a segment of an overpass on Luang Phaeng Road, in Bangkok’s Lat Krabang district on Monday. Two people were killed and seven others were injured in the accident. Police have already questioned eight witnesses, including one of the injured and five others who witnessed the accident on a segment of the overpass which is a part of On Nut-Lat Krabang elevated road project, which caved in at about 6pm on Monday. Pol Maj-Gen Saravuth Jindakam, commander of 3rd division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, said that the contractor, Tharawan-Napa joint venture, has initially been charged with negligence causing death. brianthainess Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 A transport company say they can only move 5 heavy beams today as they don't have enough suitable trucks. I would still like to see the crane that toppled was that suitable? I doubt it.
