A “CAR MOB” procession of automobiles and motorcycles showed up at national police headquarters on Rama 1 road to ask why National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Damrongsak Kittipraphat did not attend the joint House/senate meeting last Thursday to vote for Move Forward leader Pita Limjaroenrat as prime minister, Matichon newspaper said Sunday afternoon (July 16).

The procession, entitled “Respect my Vote”, was called by Mr. Anon Nampha, a well-known political activist and human rights lawyer, to go and submit a letter of resignation as senator to some of those who did not show up that day.

After submitting these letters at the army headquarters on Ratchadamnoen Nok road and navy headquarters on Arun Amarin road, the procession returned to the Democracy Monument and at 3.45 p.m. headed for the police headquarters. Another group of protesters had already gathered in front of Bangkok Art & Culture Centre.

Smart move... go to all senators and petition them and ask them with cameras why they abstained voting as they are being paid by the taxpayers....Nail them in public is a good move, as they are protected by all kind of laws... but asking questions can't do any harm as it is no defamation or computer act crime

Too little too late...

This should have been anticipated and sorted out before this point.

Withering death throes and whinges of those with hopes of democracy.
