After staying 2-3 months in BKK, I, as a foreigner, belatedly realize that it is vitally importan to rent a room which is close to both a mall and a bts/mrt station. To be as quickly as possible to get to mall to stroll along and enjoy malls 3. I think there is an advantage often not to pay a 1-2 months deposit to the owner compared to other ways of renting.
