Giving Sin City a miss too much crime. What's Hua Hin like nightlife , beaches etc. I have heard of Soi Bintabaht any good 

You will die of boredom in Hua HIn after having gone through Sin City.

Bangkok would be a far better hit I guess if you want to get away from Sin City.

Thanks Sigmund i saw a few Vids and couldn't help most of the bars that had customers were very old with a few Mobility Scooters outside that was Soi Bintabaht.
