EU envoy reaffirms bloc’s support for Cambodia’s growth agenda

Carmen Moreno, Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Cambodia, reaffirmed the 27-member bloc’s commitment to support the Kingdom’s efforts aimed at boosting its economic growth and improving the living standards of the people.

 

Moreno gave this assurance to Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance, when she called on him on Monday. She made the courtesy call to say goodbye as she completed her diplomatic mission in Cambodia.

 

According to a press release by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Deputy Prime Minister praised Moreno’s efforts to strengthen cooperation between Cambodia and the EU during her diplomatic mission and expressed his gratitude to the bloc for the continued support. Moreno praised the efforts of the Royal Government of Cambodia to ensure political and socio-economic stability and development of the country in all fields.
