Featured Replies

:o I got married with my fiance in April 07.We 've been together for 4 years now and he has work permit, pays taxes every month.Last month we went to apply for non-o visa for him and the officer asked us to bring tax type 91 for him, then last week we went with it and he said he wanted mine as well.I said you didn't ask for mine last time, and he said don't worry , you wtill have time in Thailand. We only have a very small business and he said that we're just doing it for fun(sanook). I know what 's he after(notes with number 1000 on them).I heard some farang were asked for 10000 or something like this and they got it in the same day.

What 's your opinion??

Thanks for reading

Your situation is not clear to me.

1. Are you a foreigner or Thai?

2. From what you say, your husband seems to be a foreigner.

3. At which office did your husband apply?

4. With what visa did your husband last enter Thailand?

5. When you say that the two of you went to apply for non-o visa for him, what exactly did he apply for, ie with what form? (A non-O visa is usually obtained from a Thai consulate, ie outside Thailand, but if entry was visa-exempt or with tourist visa a change to non-O status can be made at an Immigration office in certain situations)

6. Evidence of how much income did your husband show to the Immigration officer?
