SOUTH KOREA Will Pay Families of Those Who Died Following COVID-19 Vaccinations, REGARDLESS of Whether the Vaccination Itself Was Confirmed To Be the Cause of Death

Last week Wednesday, South Korean lawmakers and government officials agreed to increase the amount of condolence money to families of those who died following COVID-19 vaccinations, regardless of whether the vaccination itself was confirmed to be the cause of death.

From September, families will be eligible to get up to 30 million won ($22,500) in condolence money if a family member dies within 90 days of having received the COVID-19 vaccine, even if the cause of death can not be identified in an autopsy.

Thailand was one of the first countries to provide financial compensation for those who had experienced negative effects after receiving coivd-19 vaccinations.

AseanNow reported on January 17 that the the National Security Office (NHSO) provided one billion baht in financial compensation.

Does anybody know the current status, i.e. the number of people that were provided compensation, as well as the actual financial compensation that they received?

The media completely stopped covering the Thai Covid vaccination injury compensation scheme when it started blowing out of proportion and budget. Which is understandable from a pro-vaccination perspective, as the numbers were pretty self-explanatory with regard to the alleged "safety and effectiveness" of the product.

Welcome as this is, I see it as only a minor part of the picture.

There are hundreds of millions, probably billions of people who were not injured by the vaccines, but had their lives ruined to a considerable extent by the Covid situation.

Even the UN admits this, in its recent ‘Political Declaration of the United Nations General Assembly High-level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response.

Quote

[Covid caused a ] "negative impact on equity, human and economic development across all spheres of society, as well as on global humanitarian needs, gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls, the enjoyment of human rights, livelihoods, food security and nutrition, education, its disruption to economies, supply chains, trade, societies and the environment, within and among countries, which is reversing hard-won development gains and hampering progress."

To restate the obvious, this does not happen due to a virus targeting sick elderly people, resulting in a median age of death at around 80.

It occurs when children and productive adults are barred from school, work, healthcare and participating in markets for goods and services. Economic, social and health catastrophe inevitably results, disproportionately harming poorer people and low-income countries, with the World Bank estimating that 150 million people would be thrown back into extreme poverty.
