My Burmese partner wants me to book an alternative quarantine hotel for her mother who is flying in next week, September 2023

 

Have they brought that rule back in for the new variant or for Myanmar arrivals? When I flew in from the UK a few months ago I didn't need that type of booking

Thanks yeah she's changed her mind to it being any hotel that is 'มาตรฐาน' 

 

Which seems to mean one that gives you a booking confirmation and is legal, rather than a few hundred baht place. Something to show at the airport
