volsfan
I need to get a receiver trailer hitch installed on my MG 5. Purpose will be to then install an electric wheelchair carrier into it. Any suggestions on where to get one fitted in Pattaya?
richard_smith237
A one hour old post about an MG and Khun LA is not all over this like a cheap tent on a drag queen !!! Perhaps mention that your MG is an EV.... and he'll be here in a millisecond... If he's not busy mustering up some Michelin level scran that is !!! 1

I assume you contacted the dealership already ??? One option is to look at this from another angle and see what cyclists do.. i.e. cycling carry racks - some of them are 'trailer hitch' racks.... companies such as Thule do these, they should be able to point you in the direction of where may be able to install the hitch itself. I need the receiver hitch installed on the vehicle, which ends with the square tube. You can then slide the ball in on a square tube, or in this case a lightweight aluminium carrier fitted with a tube that inserts into the receiver. Most of the cycling stuff is for more lightweight applications, and for this type car would have a couple of strap hooked ends to put on the trunk lid before closing. mikebike
Not exactly in Pattaya, but on the way to BKK... this place looks worth talking to. Their main thrust is trailers, but they do hitches and receivers as well. http://www.upbeat.co.th/v2/index.php
