July 16, 200718 yr I went to The local "copy" store and noticed all their Win XP's were Corporate editions, right up to 2007. I just have a regular service pack 2, 2006, but have problems, so need to upgrade or re install. I don't have my original CD handy right now, so can I install the Corporate version? Or would I have to wipe my drives clean (format) first? Any advice or help would be appreciated. Ta, Steve
July 16, 200718 yr If you have a "legitimate" product key for the corporate edition, you can "swap out" the old product key with the Windows XP Product Key Modifier Edited July 16, 200718 yr by Rice_King

I have an XP version already installed, but I can only open in safe mode. I don't have the disk handy, so would I be able to repair with a newer version of XP? Is the corporate version any different to the normal XP pro? Thanks Steve

To repair, you'll need to have the same version as the installed one.
