Overseas Thai workers, particularly those in Israel, are in the limelight as the conflict escalates in the region. Over 7,000 Thai individuals are awaiting evacuation, with instances of Thais being kidnapped by militants.

Records from the Bank of Thailand reveal that the remittance from these overseas workers in the first three quarters of the current year was around 184 billion baht. Israel and Taiwan are the leading employers of Thai workers, with Israel in second place. These expats are projected to bring in 243 billion baht for Thailand by this year.

Aside from agriculture, the Middle East’s hospitality industry is a significant magnet for skilled workers, offering high salaries, particularly to experienced Thai therapists.

As Krod Rojanastien, a board advisor for the Thai Spa Association, highlighted, the Pheu Thai Party’s promise to raise the minimum wage to 600 baht by the end of its term will not deter Thais from seeking employment overseas. This is due to the fact that the average earnings for Thai therapists working abroad far exceed this proposed rate.

Therapists of all ages, particularly those with years of experience, are highly sought after. Thai spa therapists are in high demand due to their excellent hospitality skills and mindset. Approximately 120,000 therapists are registered in Thailand, with several thousand working overseas.

"homeopathy" and "therapies" should not be used in the same sentence. Homeopathy is the biggest scam of totally worthless junk misnamed as medicine ever

Utter rubbish. Homeopathy is amongst one of the best cures for simple little issues like a common cold or light viruses where allopathic medication does not work. If you prone the use of heavy antibiotics just for a cold, up to you, but your body will give it back to you one day. Of course, for any real infection, one needs antibiotics and of ourse vaccines are necessary for preventing major diseases, no arguing.

But for most of the small little problems like light upset stomac, constipation, small sore throats or light chills, homeopathy does work, provided one hits one the correct type and the dillution that suits you. Obviously if the homeopathy does not work after a few days, one needs to consult. But you are aware that medecine is now more a business with cutbacks and commissions from big pharmas to doctors who prescribe their specific drugs, sometimes that are not necessary.

The new remittance tax will be great for these therapists.

So long as there is no accidental space between the 'e' and the 'r', all is good.

so you are saying it is great medicine when you don't need any...... there is not cure in the absurd levels of ingredients in the so called medicine. Take homeopathic meds and be cured in a week or take nothing and be cured in 7 days.

I made no mention of antibiotics & agree they are insanely overprescribed. "...the correct type and the dillution that suits you" The whole "dilution" theory is a scam of the first order. "Many homeopathic remedies come in 30X or 200C dilutions. A substance diluted to 30X contains 1 part of the substance in 10 to the 29th parts water. A very important ..." Can't get more gullible than this. One drop of something in a swimming pool amount of water is not going to matter.

At one time doing nothing (which is what those "medicines" do) was a better choice than being bled by a barber or given all sorts of nasty questionable procedures. But that was hundreds of years ago.

There has never been any scientific medical trial level proof that any of this grift works.
