The man who owns the field opposite my house harvested, burned, ploughed and re-seeded his fields within 2 weeks last month, for what will be his 3rd crop this year.

I didn't say that I watched it grow, but taking the dog to <deleted> on the edge of his field twice a day, I could not ignore it's progress. 555

It is fascinating to see the seeds, fertiliser and insecticide delivered by drone. That's progress.

More laid back here, and much less activity.   Pineapples take 2 years to yield fruit.

 

Another 18 months to go

 

Interested to see how the harvesting will be done ...

That should knacker the soil after a couple of years!

I wonder how much fertilizer he gets through. I have heard about crop rotation but that is spinning!
