A populist, hare-brained scheme, IMHO, destined for disaster in one form or another; on the other hand, 10,000 baht into my SO's account ... .

Good advice, which they won't take. Authorities need someone to blame for their skimming from the top.

There you go, I said it all along that Phone apps ain't Safe. People  and Banks can say what they want . 

Stick to your Computer /Laptop to do your banking Business.

This will turn out to be one of the biggest boondoggles in Thai history, nobody will be happy with it, except for the Politicians who will obviously be neck deep in the money they skim off of it.

Still have to extra vigilant with your computer and laptop in conducting business. Personal experience with hacker copying data of my supplier, altering the message to divert payment to their banks. Fortunately scam avoided from due dilgence of my part.
