A heated dispute over unwashed dishes escalated into a violent encounter in a residence in Bang Pakong, Chachoengsao, on the night of yesterday. The family feud resulted in severe injuries and a police investigation, as revealed by Deputy Inspector Pataweekarn Prakobkaew.

A 37 year old man, Montri, sought help from neighbours, bloodied and beaten, claiming he was attacked by his brother and uncle. Montri reported that the argument started when his uncle, 57 year old Worawut, criticised him for his habit of not washing dishes. The disagreement spiralled out of control, leading to Montri destroying household items and damaging a Honda Wave motorbike and a pickup truck belonging to Worawut.

Following the clash, Worawut left the house while Montri informed the police of a potential shooting threat. However, upon the police’s departure, Worawut returned home with 33 year old Chalermphon, Montri’s younger brother, and their mother. The confrontation resumed, forcing Montri to retaliate with a knife, injuring both Worawut and Chalermphon before fleeing the scene.

Nice one

Males here are so fragile!

Such a peaceful country. And what was that we've read about Thai families being so close?

If you live here banish that word from your vocabulary.

It doesn't even apply to most of what's happening globally now.

Face it: everything is believable now, or nothing is. Take your pick.
