Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, the leader of Thailand's Future Forward Party, has sparked attention with his upcoming public lecture titled "What Should Thailand Gain from Spending 500 Billion Baht?" Scheduled for November 17, the event aims to stimulate intellectual discourse on the nation's economic trajectory.

In a recent Facebook post, Thanathorn extended an invitation to the public, outlining his commitment to presenting alternative strategies for boosting Thailand's economic growth and competitive edge, while also focusing on widespread improvements in the quality of life for its citizens, reported Daily News.

Thanathorn's lecture is founded on three main objectives: to provide thought-provoking content for societal contemplation, to influence government policy through his perspectives, and to instill hope among Thais about a more prosperous future for the country.

He firmly asserts the lack of necessity for massive loans to stimulate the current economy. Instead, he argues for efficient allocation of the existing annual budget.

Emphasizing that Thailand's slow economic growth compared to neighboring countries is not due to low consumption, but rather a lack of competitive capability, Thanathorn is poised to share his insights and engage in a dialogue with attendees at the New Future Building, starting at 3 PM on the scheduled date.
