December 1, 20232 yr Hi, we are traveling from Loa back down to BKK in January, anyone know of good local night markets with local crafts for sale? I am looking for elephant bells, have seen them in Chaing Mai but it is a 10 hour drive from Nong Khai which is a bit much as we need to drive back to Southern Thailand which is 17-18 hours driving.

December 2, 20232 yr If you are heading for BKK then maybe check out Chatuchak market there. I have not been for a while, but before Covid there used to be quite a few places selling 'antiques' and older style stuff.
December 2, 20232 yr A guess, UT, as much larger than NK. @stupidfarang Spotted this when searching your photo. Edited December 2, 20232 yr by KhunLA
December 2, 20232 yr Never seen these anywhere in UdonThani, night markets are mostly food and cheap knockoffs. Good luck.
