Jack1988
I am asking that for a friend of mine that last week has left the country but the immigration officer at the airport has stamped the departure to the last re-entry stamp of last year but he didn't stamp the departure to the last extension stamp page. It's a mistake from the officer or there is nothing to worry about?
Georgealbert
It is normal, had 8 in and outs in the last 2 years and all of mine have been stamped next to last entry stamp. They could not stamp next to last extension, as had other country stamps/visa there. Also helps save space in passports, so no there is no issues.

IO stamps usually on any available space, but probably near to the last page used in the passport---there are no rules on stamping.

Popular Post NoDisplayName
It doesn't matter. Exit/entry stamps can go on any valid page in the passport. You can request the immigration officer to fill up small blank spots in earlier pages, freeing up full pages for larger stamps. Prior to departure, I find a suitable blank spot in my passport, attach a post-it labeled "Exit Stamp Here ---->". I ask the IO to put the exit (or entry) stamp in that free space when I hand over my passport. Never been refused. 1 1
mikeymike100
The immigration officer would normally stamp the exit stamp toward the last available space in the passport, closest the entry stamp but if there is no available space it can go anywhere, its all in the database anyway!
