On December 20th, 2023, Ms. Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, the Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports, publicly revealed the cumulative number of foreign tourists from January 1st of 2023 to December 20th of 2023 was at 26,455,680 people, generating income of more than 1.1 trillion baht.

When this is all they can talk about you know tourism is in trouble.

My head spins between the tourism is dead, and tourism is record breaking TAT drivel.

What I do know is that high season in Phuket is not as busy as it used to be and many of the local businesses are quite vocal about it.

Ah, but they are investing 80 billion Baht in a new airport! That should sort things!

ok, but the title is silly. It has nothing to do with new night time hours, which began on december 15th.

The 26.4 M tourists number wasn't made between the 15th and 20th....Just get the facts right here, writer...

Why let facts get in the way of a lame story? 🤔
