Long distance buses from Swampy (airport bus station)

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried to use long distance buses from the airport .   There used to be a few .     The lady is going route 2 with a load of luggage.    I know there are other ways.

yes of course    apologies

I was in the airport a few days ago. Near Door 8 at street level, there is still a sign advertising buses to Khon Kaen and Udon Thani.  To the best of my recollection there is only one daily departure to each of those.  I know nothing about exact departure times, or if advance booking is possible.

Long distance buses from the Swampy bus station (the one you catch a shuttle ride too) have declined a bit. I was told the overnight bus to Udon no longer runs. But i haven't used it for over 5 years. Many people now fly. May need to go into central Bangkok.

I tried to help, but neither "Swampy" nor "Long distance" are on Google Maps.
