January 6, 20242 yr I have a young Jack Fruit tree that i having so many fruits but as soon as the fruits get like 3-4 cm long they blacken and fall off! What causes this and what can I do?

January 6, 20242 yr We have a large jack fruit tree on our land. Only a handful of the fruit grow and mature. The rest blacken and die like you have stated. Maybe your young tree isn't mature enough for the fruit to grow properly.
January 6, 20242 yr I am not an expert, but I suggest manually reducing the number of fruits by half before they get to that stage. It may be that the tree is not yet mature enough to support so many to ripeneing
January 7, 20242 yr This year our Jackfruit tree went bananas and produced 8 or 9 big fruits. We managed to enjoy one before the local squirrels ( galorks ) found out and have had a go at all the rest.
