ISLAMABAD (AP) — Pakistan’s air force launched retaliatory airstrikes early Thursday in Iran against alleged militant hideouts, killing at least nine people and further raising tensions between the neighbors.

Thursday’s attack followed one by Iran inside Pakistan on Tuesday. Both appeared to target Baluch militant groups with similar separatist goals on either side of the Iran-Pakistan border. The countries accuse each other of providing safe haven to the groups in their respective territories.

The attacks also come as the Middle East remains unsettled by Israel’s war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Iran also staged airstrikes late Monday in Iraq and Syria over an Islamic State-claimed suicide bombing that killed over 90 people in early January.

There must be a lot of those Toyota pickups with mounted guns floating around in that part of the world.  The Baluchis out in the desert have been a pain in the _ss even in better times, but why is Tehran bothering them now?  You would think they have enough on their plate these days.

The B.L.A were the group targeted by the Pakistan army , the B.L.A  the Baluchistan Liberation Army seeks independence from Pakistan and they want their own Country , Pakistan was formed in 1948.

They are one of the many groups who are in a similar situation to the Palestinian's , yet they get no Western support (from the public) and no support from Islamic Countries and very few people even know about their existence or cause .

Why is there so much support for the Palestinians and absolutely no support for the Baluchistan's ?

Allowing each other leeway to deal with troublesome issues. No doubt this was discussed beforehand.

Because it's Jews killing the Palestinians. No one cares when Muslims kill other Muslims.

Why is it Israel's war with Hamas? Why is it not Hamas' war with Israel? Didn't Hamas start it?
