Surat Thani – A missing female Chinese tourist in Nakhon Si Thammarat was found safe on Pha Ngan Island in Surat Thani.

The Nakhon Si Thammarat City Police were notified of the incident earlier this week. A 32-year-old male Chinese tourist had filed a missing report to police. He told police that his female Chinese friend, identified only as Mrs. Sun, 27, was missing. He was previously with her at a hotel in the Chang Klang district in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

He and his other two female Chinese friends left the hotel but they separated with Mrs. Sun for travelling around town. They made an appointment at the bus terminal in the city for a trip to Pha Ngan Island.

"The next day they finally contacted Mrs. Sun and found she was safe with a different group of friends on the Pha Ngan Island in Surat Thani."

I believe Friday was full moon party!

Close. It was Thursday.

If the FMP is on a significant Buddhist date, the party is the day before or the day after.
