sbk
Andaman News TV11 Phuket Malaysian-based Air Asia announced last week that it is set to serve direct flights from Kuala Lumpur or KL to Krabi, one of Thailand’s most beautiful getaways, beginning from 21 August 2007 with three Airbus flights weekly, in addition to Thai Air Asia’s Bangkok to Krabi three daily flights. One of the few undisturbed tropical beach resorts, complete with trails of mountain adventures and meandering river valleys, Krabi provides stunning panoramas for photographers and activities that would appeal to young Malaysian urbanites and families. A noticeable trend is more and more people taking short breaks as opposed to taking one or two long vacations in a year. The Kuala Lumpur flights depart 10.05am, arrive Krabi 10.25am, and return from Krabi at 10.50am, arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 1.10pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Good news for people needing to go to KL to do a visa.
