The Democrats joined other opposition parties at a dinner hosted by the Move Forward party last night, in a show of solidarity, working together in and out of parliament to monitor the government’s performance.

 

The other three opposition parties attending the dinner meeting were Thai Sang Thai, Fair and Thai Teachers for the People.

 

Move Forward party leader and opposition leader Chaithawat Tulathon said that the opposition parties will hold their first mobile meeting in the north-eastern province of Udon Thani, to meet with the people there and to listen to their problems.

Of course in Thailand oppostion party means any party who is opposed to the elite not the party who did not win the election which is normally the case. We now know that any party opposed to the elite dictatorship will remain in oppostion no matter what % of the population votes for them. Gain 75% of the popular vote and you will not be the govt. You will be the opposition.
