February 26, 20242 yr Popular Post Welcome back Bob you have been away for a couple of months. If you can't beat the Russians you could always join them and show them your fake Rolex.

Thais are no different.
February 26, 20242 yr Probably normal for Russians, when i went to Russia, everywhere you'd get groups of men standing in the street drinking alcohol, usually cans
February 26, 20242 yr Popular Post Bob ,I thought you were HiSo with many vehicle's and Rolex's ..... what are you doing living in a Russian ghetto ? regards worgeordie

February 26, 20242 yr Popular Post No concept of noise, manners, respect for the country and its people that they are visiting or anyone else and the list goes on. This is my personal experience with the majority of Russians I have been near or lived near. This seemed to change for awhile when the Russians first attacked Ukraine and they were worried about any backlash but has now returned to the same as before. Like I said, this is just my personal experience, Russia is a huge country and I am sure there are people there who are not like that. And not that it matters or makes any difference but I am 1/4 Russian and often get mistaken at first as Russian by Russians and others, by looks only of course since I am a nice and respectful guy 🙂
February 26, 20242 yr Popular Post Follow the example of the Ukrainians - Do you possess a drone? ....
February 26, 20242 yr Easy to avoid Russians, don't stay in the areas they live. Most of them would be in Phuket and Pattaya.
February 26, 20242 yr Popular Post I just don't care for them much, but they seem quieter then before. I think they realize a lot of people dislike them now so maybe some are trying to mind their manners. My experience though is Brits and Aussies are louder. Especially when they are drinking and complaining about how much they hate USA and Americans.
February 26, 20242 yr Author Popular Post They are slamming doors now and one has just punched the wall outside my room. i think he may be drunk. when are they going home to join their comrades on the frontline? bob.

February 26, 20242 yr Yes. They learned it from Thais. Gotta love the crap for brains guy who often sets off a 500 piece long strip of firecrackers at 7 am behind my house thinking that's normal.
February 26, 20242 yr I noticed similar unruly behaviour once when I was staying in Goa, India, on one of my world travels. My apartment block was full of twentysomething Russians who would sit outside their rooms in the stairwell and party on the steps. Unfortunately, due to the confined stairwell space, the acoustics of their boisterous behaviour was amplified even further by the ceramic wall tiles and concrete steps. Not once did they consider doing it on their balconies or by the swimming pool. No, it was always in the stairwell with a much greater acoustic range than had it been done out in the open. Of course, sometimes I'd tell them to zip it but they're Russians, so by nature they're ill-mannered and discourteous, and would continue on regardless. You have my sympathy.
February 26, 20242 yr Bob, go have your wife or one or more of your mia nois sort them out. Do it asap before it gets out of control! Edited February 26, 20242 yr by tjintx

Mark Twain's description of the effect of old age on his own mental acuity applies here as well: “When I was younger, I could remember anything, whether it had happened or not; but my faculties are decaying now and soon I shall be so I cannot remember any but the things that never happened.”
February 26, 20242 yr Russians, Ukrainians or other east europeans. Some are ok some not, like anyplace. But the loud mouthy attitude is cultural. But I prefer russians to chinese neighbours.

February 27, 20242 yr Popular Post Bob, are you a man or a mouse, sort these crude ruskies out....pronto.
February 27, 20242 yr Friend in Jomtien moved from his poolside condo 2nd floor to opposite side. 8th floor. The noise by the Russians was too much. And that was at least 6 years ago. He speaks some Russian. So no sceptical questions please. Edited February 27, 20242 yr by KhunBENQ
February 27, 20242 yr They are making their own rules from what I can see, An old guy I bump into occasionally he must live in one of the soi's near me, he has been asking for advice recently, he has a 2 bedroom pool villa for rent, he has rented it out to 4 Russians I think he lives next door and he was telling me now there is 12 people there, partying every night and having sex around the pool, very noisy and now the neighbours are kicking off, he's asking me what can he do, he said he has called the agent who is supposed to look after the place and they are not interested, I think it's time to call the police before one of your neighbours does. the other thing he said was they are coming and going all night long on their bikes,

I like Americans, i respect them and I have a couple of good American friends .... I think you've heard them drinking and yakking one or two times and you got it into your head that everyone is like that. The younger generation maybe, only because they are stupid and don't know history and react to tik tok or some other silly social media influencer.
February 27, 20242 yr Bob, you need to move from that Klong shanty town area ... it's not a good location for you and the sanitary conditions are putrid.
February 27, 20242 yr I have the same problem in the estate I live in in Hua Hin. All was well until Putin invaded Ukraine, then some Russians started moving into rental properties in the estate. A couple of loud roof-top parties until 2-3 am. One family has a very very loud big bike which is loud enough to wake me up when the rider returns home in the early hours of the morning. Close by my house is a restaurant with a pool table - loud Russians shouting as they eat and drink is bad enough, but what is worse is their kids bouncing pool balls on the pool table. Of course, they may not be Russians, but they are clearly speaking Russian. Basically zero consideration of others.
