Why do you post on the Farang Pub?

Recommended Posts

Dear FP Members....

Have you ever asked yourselves why you post on the Farang Pub?

a.  You are a Farang?

b. You have too much time on your hands?

c.  You have something important to convey to the Farang Community here?

d. Lonely?

e. You cannot help yourself from posting interesting and eye-catching drivel?

f.  Your name is Bob?

g. You wish to entertain your fellow Thailand Farang?

h.  You were just released from 30-years incarceration in a Japanese prison?

There are just so many possibilities...

Why do you post so much on the TV Farang Pub?

I have no clue why I might post a few comments.

But, I think it might be due to the heat and humidity here in Thailand.

Some just cannot stand the heat, and so they post on the Farang Pub, in order to distract themselves from the discomfort they feel.

Which leads to another question:

1.  Do you post more posts when the weather is hot?

2.  Do you post more during the cold season, when the air is crisper, but never cold?

Also....

3.  Have you ever posted a comment on TV while you were making love to a Thai woman, and did the posting, while in the act, create any bias in your posted comment?

==============

I am sorry, but, IMHO, I cannot say for sure why I post on TV.

All that I know is that I do not know why.

Maybe it's like the old woman who swallowed the fly....

She never intended to swallow a fly.

And then, one thing led to another.

And then, she died.

Regards,

Gamma

Or....

Maybe this is why.....?

verbal abuse

BORING!

DEPRESSING!

Verbal abuse is neither good for the goose or the gander.

Concerning the discussion of Economics and Politics....

Here is not the place.

Instead, you might better head to some other forum where these topics can be discussed on a much higher plane, such as.....

In my opinion, The Farang Pub is no proper venue for debates such as are hosted at either Oxford or Cambridge.

I am not suggesting that economics is discussed in the Pub, why would anyone even consider it.

This might be the very last thing I would consider.

In fact, I would be shocked....SHOCKED.....to see such an enlightened discussion here.

Neither would I welcome such a discussion here, absolutely!

It has always been my contention that it should be the guys from the UK who should teach the rest of the world how to write English, including the Americans.

Even though I do still believe this, I also believe that The Farang Pub might not be the place for us to learn proper English.

Almost nobody sets a good example, here on the FP....

BUT, I will say that Philip Roth, an American, attained just about the pinnacle of paragraph writing that the world has ever known.

Tsk, how sexist that you think females cannot teach English well. (guys is masculine)

And how myopic that you think only English people can teach English or that English is only spoken in the UK. English is spoken in America, in Canada and Australia and elsewhere, to suggest those countries speak American, Canadian or Australian is of course nonsense. Ergo, there are plenty of good examples being set, you simply don't recognise them.

Only if North Yorkshire has been annexed by Singapore recently.

Even if not annexed, yet....

Soon, it may be overtaken.....

What is your population there?

I am sure you have already felt the pressure of the invaders beginning to flood your land.

Just wait.....

You will soon lose your entire culture....

30 years, tops.

I used to post on it because it had interesting threads, and now it's just a bad habit I can't break.

Is a thread allowed to show up on the "Popular" column when 8 out of 10 posts are by the person who started the thread?
