Nice copy/paste from the first search result for "tall people in hollywood".

You, dickweed ! 😄😄

As for Rachel Zegler, just look at the video.

How small she looks compared to the car.

And she is in heels...

She's a midget.

Which you were too lazy to do, instead ragging pointlessly about someone who 5'2" as if she were a dwarf.

Clearly Hollywood doesn't have a preference for short people as you claim.

Dickweed, good one, you clearly have the playground comebacks down.

Here is a little exercise for you dickweed

"Question:

The average height of American women is distributed normally, with a mean of 63.5 inches and a standard deviation of 2.5 inches. Approximately what percentage of American women are taller than 58.5 inches, but shorter than 68.5 inches?

a) 50%

b) 68%

c) 84%

d) 95%"

from https://homework.study.com

Oh, and I almost forgot, go forth and multiply with yourself.

You can ask the person you get to help you with the average height problem to explain to you  what that means, dickweed.

It is easier for smaller women to look and remain thin, which is greatly valued in the entertainment industry.

As the saying goes, "The camera adds 15-lbs".

Of course, tall and thin is better, which is why so many models make the transition to acting.

5'10" and dress size 0 is the ideal on runways and in Hollywood.

Of course, for porn, all the men are short.  Obviously, the shorter the man, the bigger his schwantz looks!

My oldest son is a full time actor. He’s 6’5”

One of the few. Nice!

Is he a full time unemployed actor or is he an actual pro with regular jobs?

What his name? Might watch one of his movies 👍

Clearly it does. Naming a few tall people won't change a thing about it.

Question:

To find the percentage of American women that are taller than 58.5 inches but shorter than 68.5 inches, we will use the properties of a normal distribution. First, we need to calculate the z-scores for the given heights: \(z_1 = \frac{58.5 - 63.5}{2.5} = -2\), \(z_2 = \frac{68.5 - 63.5}{2.5} = 2\). Next, we find the area under the standard normal curve between these two z-scores using a standard normal distribution table or a calculator: \(P(-2 < Z < 2) = P(Z < 2) - P(Z < -2)\). From the standard normal distribution table, we find: \(P(Z < 2) = 0.9772\), \(P(Z < -2) = 0.0228\). Therefore, \(P(-2 < Z < 2) = 0.9772 - 0.0228 = 0.9544\).

So, approximately 95.44% of American women are taller than 58.5 inches but shorter than 68.5 inches.

That result provides zero valuable insight.

Except the fact that Zegler is slightly below 58.5 inches and so is essentially Gimli.

Thank you, dw.

"Why is Hollywood so fond of small people ?"

Yeah like:

Dwayne Johnson

Jason Momoa

Liam Neeson

Ben Affleck

Idris Elba

Chris Hemsworth

Hugh Jackman

All over 6 feet tall

Jennifer Lawrence

Ilfenesh Hadera

Nicole Kidman

Gal Gadot

Tilda Swinton

Sigourney Weaver

Famke Jansenn

All over 5'9"

I think Hollywood is fond of talented actors of whatever height.

And Rachel Zegler is 5'2" so far from a midget.

Maybe you should tell Hollywood that. Some of the actors now are mandioca at best.

Clint Eastwood is taller than 190 cm.

The true answer is in the question. The smallest actor I can remember was Alan Ladd. He had to stand on boxes when up close to other people on set. I think Shetland ponies were used for his horse scenes.

Watched the Remake of Roadhouse (2024) on the weekend

The 'bad guy' Knox is played by Conor McGregor, he looks to be a giant in the fight scenes, taller than his opponents.

Wiki lists him as: Height: 5 ft 8 in 173 cm Weight: 70 kg; 11 st 1 lb

Yet here he is with the main actor, Jake Gyllenhall, who is 5 ft 11 in 180cm

Big shoes?
