A friend sent me a video clip from youtube and I clicked it for a laugh and it worked , I'm just hoping that its back on forever and it's not on just because Somchai and the censor station has fallen asleep . I've just tried to open youtube on another window and it says page cannot be displayed but the original one I clicked on is working fine and I can access my old account no problem and all my videos are still there. Howvever, since, i was familiar with your regularities here i didnt write too much. My thread was 'locked' anyway...... and informed that the subject was being discussed "elsewhere" There are numerous Thai language forums talking about the unblocking YouTube, as of tonight. A suggested QUESTION would be: How do I download and convert online videos direct to PC? And by the way... Youtube indeed works again for me. I think the main block the junta placed at Thailand's main gateway was lifted (or otherwise stopped working), however in their usual eager-beaver way, individual ISPs may also block it. The comments accompanying them makes this place (even on a bad day) look like the MENSA rocket science forum. Seems like a lot of the posters of these vids and comments are rich Chinese-Thai students studying abroad... Where is "Thaigoon" these days...? There are pages and pages of arguments and derogatory comments from two sides of the monarchy divide slagging each other off. From what I ascertain to be Thais of Chinese ancestry because of the subject matter and historical barbs traded. It might be a red herring or a cover / reference to Thaksin.... Who knows.
