i've heard, many times in these forums, that thai

folks will use a regional speech to keep a farang out. if they feel " he " may understand some thai. have any of you ever used "igpay atinlay" ?

Learn the regional speach too. :-)

I'm not trucking this off to the language forum yet as it seems this discussion will go the way of discussing the principle of 'keeping the farang out' true or false, rather than language issues...
