CIA says GOP allegations of interference in Hunter Biden probe are false

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has refuted claims made by Republican House investigators regarding its alleged interference in the probe of Hunter Biden.

House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan and House Oversight Chair James Comer had penned a letter to the agency, citing a whistleblower's allegation that the CIA obstructed Justice Department officials from interviewing attorney Kevin Morris, an associate of Hunter Biden. However, James Catella, head of the CIA’s legislative affairs, dismissed these claims as false in a letter, asserting that the CIA did not impede the interview process.

Despite this denial, Russell Dye, a spokesman for the House Judiciary Committee, affirmed their commitment to the whistleblower's allegation.

This development marks the latest twist in an ongoing investigation that has accused law enforcement agencies of neglecting to pursue Hunter Biden, who currently faces criminal charges in two states. The Republicans' allegations against the CIA are part of broader efforts to scrutinize the Biden family's activities, particularly regarding Hunter Biden's business dealings. However, the lack of substantial evidence and the CIA's denial have cast doubts on the credibility of these claims.

Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin has urged Republicans to share the materials supporting their allegations, emphasizing the importance of transparency in such matters. Raskin also pointed to the potential implications of these claims being linked to Russian intelligence, highlighting concerns about foreign interference in American elections. However, Republicans have expressed reluctance to share this information, citing concerns about protecting the whistleblower's identity.

The conflicting narratives surrounding the Hunter Biden investigation underscore the partisan divide in Washington. While Republicans continue to press for further inquiries and investigations, Democrats argue that these efforts are politically motivated and lack sufficient evidence. As the debate rages on, the truth behind the allegations remains elusive, leaving the future of the investigation uncertain.

So the GOP fake committee chairman lied, as usual, and is trying to hide it! 😀

Morris which the CIA allegedly prevented from being interviewed, was actually interviewed!

Pathetic! 😀

Background of deception: Once America First patriots can get a strong footing again , the CIA must conform to  restructuring.

“The CIA evokes images of clandestine activity, spies hiding in corners and covert overthrow of unfriendly government regimes. However, when Truman established the organization in 1947, he envisioned something much different -- a sort of daily newspaper, informing him of developments around the world that could impact American policy. Yet even during Truman’s own presidency, the CIA did evolve to become much more than a news agency for the President as covert operations began in earnest early in the agency’s history”.

Oh my!

You really know absolutely nothing, yet seem quite proud to announce that to the world.

Sniffed way too much diesel in your career, I guess.

Back to topic.

Comer claims an IRS whistleblower said the CIA prevented Morris from being interviewed by the IRS, while another IRS whistleblower already testified he actually interviewed Morris.

Of course, Comer refuses to communicate the elements he's supposed to have to the Dem Committee members.

Hmmm.....

Thank you for your timely post. If there is one truth in government it is, IMO, that government lackeys will always seek to gain more power and influence.

I bet they never considered that someone like Biden would be POTUS, or that he would be seriously considered as a candidate for a second go at ruining the country.

You trumpers are an endless source of amusement.

"ruining the country"

Record job creation, robust GDP growth, rebuilding infrastructure, new chip plants, lower prescription drug prices...

Maybe you should try to ruin your own country as well.

Please provide a comprehensive list all the things Biden has done at ruining the country as President in his first go.

Also include evidence from a reliable source to support everything listed.
