seykota
My wife would like to grow some tea plants for home consumption (not commercial), she thinks her father used to have some in their garden many years ago.
chownah
In Chiangrai Province there is a place up in the hills called Doi Salong. It is inhabited by the descendents of the Kuo Min Tang Chinese who fled China when Mao Tse Tung took over the country in the middle of the last century. They have a thriving tea industry and I'm sure you could get what you need there. It's also a very pleasant place to visit.
