Well, GG, there's obviously something for everyone. When a man doesn't find Latin women riveting, I advise getting a testosterone check. Might be down a few quarts. As for writing system, it was Japanese women who made it easier and more practical---especially in the age of keyboards---by developing hiragana. If one happens to enjoy woodworking, it doesn't matter who first developed the saw. Japanese woodworking tools are infinitely superior to Chinese tools. To give them credit is like saying since China invented fireworks, going to the Moon in 1969 was no big deal. Traditional Chinese architecture is offensive with its paint scheme. Of course, Chinese destroyed most of their ancient artifacts during the Cultural Inflaggeration. I'd go with Gothic for absolute beauty in architecture, though I missed its peak by 11 centuries or so (There was a Neo-Gothic period about 400-500 years ago, and I've decorated my old French house with Neo Gothic furniture I can find, and what the French people no longer seem to cherish.) For pottery, I'll take Sumerian. For walls, give me Byzantine. The so-called Great Wall just says "We've long had a surplus of people". If one wants ancient technical excellence, China produced nothing comparable in brilliance as one can still see today in the Roman's Pont du Gard in France (Gaul). I will give a nod to Chinese electric vehicles, which are at least the quality and better in design than Tesla, and dare I saw the abomination Ferrari produced. For food and especially women---vs just Chinese---I'll take Latin. It's the Y chromosome in me. Anyway, entertaining topic, GG.
