Wondering if anyone on here from Nam Nao now if there is any short term rental properties there? Have driven through the area many times but never venture into the township (if there even is one). Total district population <16k, so don't expect too much of a town. Lomsak more towards Loei or Petchabun? Is it cooler there or similar to most of Thailand this time of year? I know Petchabun gets very hot. As you say at least 5 degrees drop up on the mountain. May actually be a better choice as it is a bit more developed than I imagine Nam Nao would be.
