A 26-year-old former female boxer has been apprehended after she allegedly assaulted a 15-year-old girl she believed was interested in her ex-partner during a Songkran festival party. The girl, known as Aswarin, sustained severe injuries after the ex-boxer, who was reportedly intoxicated, used Muay Thai moves on her.

 

The incident happened on May 1st, outside a community learning center in Satuek district, Buriram Province. Aswarin was subsequently hospitalized in the same district due to the critical injuries she had incurred.

 

During the probe, Aswarin, also referred to as Rin, stated she acted alone in reaction to rumors suggesting that the teenager had shown interest in Rin's ex-partner. In the lead up to the assault, Rin confirmed that she had drunk five bottles of beer and was prompted by a friend to confront the 15-year-old girl. Rin revealed she had been waiting for the teenager and then attacked her using her Muay Thai skills, leaving the girl unconscious.

 

Rin conceded that jealousy and alcohol influenced her actions and expressed regret, although, she is afraid her apology will be rejected considering the seriousness of the injuries.

 

The teenager's 35-year-old aunt criticized the boxer for her violent behavior, driven by jealousy and rumors, and was taken aback by the brutality of the attack.

 

The incident has sparked debates about the risk of uncontrolled jealousy and the repercussions of violence, especially when under the influence of alcohol.

 

As investigations continue, the local community contemplates on the long-term effects of this violent assault on everyone involved.

Was interested in her ex-partner??? Think the woman have to read a dictionary and understand what that means. 

Given her age, she must have real problems if a 15 yo can get her jealous.

At near a decade in age discrepancy a lack of self control likely ended the sport career !

A year or two away from the public will teach er some social skills.

She better get used to having her man finding younger women. She is Thai and should know the culture for Thai men here already. Well, maybe she will learn whilst serving her time in jail or handing out a hefty envelope to the victims family.
