May 15, 20242 yr Thailand has made cannabis "legal" but not vaping. I am not sure how vaping is worse than cannabis. Are there any reasons behind it?
May 15, 20242 yr Even funnier is what about 'dry herb' weed vapes ?? So smoking weed is ok in every other format, but smoking weed in a vape isnt ??

The Tobacco Authority of Thailand, otherwise known as the Tobacco Monopoly is very strong in Thailand.... owned by the Ministry of Finance. Ultimately, legalising vape would eat into the 'big tobacco' profits...

During their free time, they would smoke vape just for fun.
August 21, 20242 yr I think the vaping ban in Thailand is mostly about health concerns and regulation. They’ve got strict rules around nicotine products, and vaping just falls into that category. It’s interesting because while cannabis has become legal there, vaping is still seen as a different issue. From what I’ve heard, they’re trying to manage nicotine use and its potential risks more tightly.

Now it's a health concern, but when enforced, I think it's still a tax thing. Not sure if law been passed yet banning due to health.
February 20, 20251 yr I find it a bit odd too. From what I’ve read, vaping’s been treated as more of a public health issue, especially with concerns about young people getting hooked on it. Cannabis, on the other hand, seems like it’s getting a pass because of its medical uses and potential to bring in tax revenue. Personally, I’ve never been into vaping, but I know a lot of people who’ve said it’s better than smoking regular cigarettes. The whole thing feels more about regulating and controlling industries than health, to be honest. I guess they’re just making the rules to fit their own agendas.
