Dubai - Is There A Thai Embassy/ Immigration Office

Featured Replies

I am wondering if there is a Thai Embassy in Dubai, and if so could I get a ‘marriage visa’ for Thailand there? I am British and have been married to a Thai for a number of years. I used to have the one year marriage visa, which I got in UK, but let it slip and have been coming in and out on 30 day visas for a few years now. However due to the changes I would like to get a one year marriage Visa again, but don’t wish to have the hassle of getting one her inside Thailand. I working side Thailand and pass through Dubai airport one a month or so. I am thinking that if I could get the Visa there I will stop off for a few days.

Any ideas?

Moved to Thai residency and visa sub-forum.

I have been using the Dubai Thai Embassy for several years. You can obtain the 1 year multi entry visa based on marriage no problem, no need to show any funds, as of my last trip there. Be sure to take all the requested papers including return ticket to Thailand. Hand in the required papers along with your passport AM, and go and collect the following day. If you need a list of what to take let me know.

After checking out the embassy web site i went to fees and charges from June 2007, it states they have a multiple 3 year non immigrant visa. i thought only a one year visa was available ?.

Anyone had any recent experience with obtaining multiple non-o, based on marriage?
