webfact
Thailand's Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin was warmly greeted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, underscoring growing ties between the two nations. This marks their second encounter this year, following an initial meeting in March. During their discussions, the leaders made strides in several areas, focusing primarily on business cooperation. The Prime Minister highlighted advancements in trade, investment, and cultural diplomacy, expressing gratitude for France's hospitality. In their latest talks, both leaders prioritised the Free Trade Agreement, electric vehicles, Visa-Free Schengen access, and tourism, aiming to boost flight connections and clean energy initiatives. Significant attention was also given to the upcoming Business Forum in Thailand, scheduled for September. France will send a delegation of business leaders and nuclear power experts to Thailand, furthering technical cooperation. Additionally, Thailand is invited to an AI conference hosted by France next year. The leaders discussed defence matters and the ongoing situation between Hamas and Israel, with France advocating for a temporary ceasefire and suggesting the Olympics as a platform to promote peace. Prime Minister Srettha underscored the benefit of the visit, noting enhanced cooperation and stronger bilateral relations. watchcat
Well Thailand has a lot of frogs which they could export. An extra benefit would be during the rainy season, the frogs that are left would be much quiter.

So they would suffer, as would the snakes.
